Arts at Hayfield | Celebrating creativity & local culture in Lehman
Arts at Hayfield in Lehman is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering arts and cultural appreciation in the Back Mountain region. Based at Penn State Wilkes-Barre, the group is best known for hosting two major annual events—the Summer Craft Fair in August and the Homespun Holiday Craft Fair in November. These events bring together local artists, performers and crafters to share their talents with the community in a lively, family-friendly setting.
Craft Fairs & Cultural Programming
During the craft fairs, visitors can enjoy unique handmade goods, live entertainment and tours of the historic Hayfield House. These events offer a platform for creative expression while connecting artists with new audiences. Beyond the fairs, Arts at Hayfield hosts other cultural activities throughout the year, including book discussions and community events that enrich the local arts scene.
Supporting Artists & the Arts Community
Arts at Hayfield reinvests in the community by awarding scholarships and supporting regional libraries, galleries and cultural groups. Their efforts help sustain the creative spirit of the Back Mountain while encouraging the next generation of artists and art lovers.
Arts at Hayfield continues to strengthen the cultural fabric of the region by promoting local talent and enriching the community through the arts in Lehman.
