Mission Statement
To stop seizures and SUDEP, find a cure and overcome the challenges created by epilepsy through efforts including education, advocacy and research to accelerate ideas into therapies.
The Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern Pennsylvania advocates, facilitates and educates those with epilepsy/seizure disorder, their family and the community. They offer Seizure Recognition and First Aid Training for law enforcement, first responders, service groups and teachers, along with age appropriate programs for students K-12.
The Epilepsy Foundation holds support meetings each month and has programs for children (Camp Achieve), a young adults retreat, youth achieve, adult wellness weekends and social services. They also have a memory cognition program for adults. All of their programs and services are free, and their trainings provide CEUs.
