The Junior League of Wilkes Barre is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
The Junior League of Wilkes Barre (JLWB) provides a strong foundation for civic leadership and connects women who share a commitment to community transformation. Our organization has remained an important force for improving the lives of women and children in the Luzerne County area for over 85 years. Through JLWB training and volunteer opportunities, you will make a positive impact in our community and find social outlets for personal growth.
