Mission Statement
At Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm we strive to educate, engage, and inspire our visitors as we interpret the culture of 19th century farm families, helping them better understand the past and the way it connects with the present and the future.
Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm is a non-profit, living history museum located in Stroudsburg, PA, dedicated to preserving the agricultural heritage of 19th-century Pennsylvania German families. Situated on 114 acres of pastures, woodlands, and streams, the farm features historic buildings such as an original farmhouse, cabin, springhouse, ice house and an 1850s bank barn.
Throughout the year, Quiet Valley hosts numerous events and workshops, such as the Farm Animal Frolic, Harvest Festival, and Old Time Christmas, offering hands-on experiences that cater to all ages. The farm also provides educational programs for schools and groups, as well as virtual tours and workshops.
As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, Quiet Valley relies on support from grants, memberships, and donations to continue its mission of preserving and sharing Pennsylvania’s rural heritage.
