Scranton Fringe is a nonprofit arts organization based in Scranton that has been producing daring, thought-provoking programming since 2015. Inspired by the legendary Edinburgh Festival Fringe, this award-winning organization has become a creative force in Northeastern Pennsylvania, dedicated to elevating the region as a vibrant cultural hub through original theatrical work, storytelling, and artistic innovation.
A Platform for Performance & Inclusion
At its core, they are a champion for independent and inclusive art. Best known for producing the annual Scranton Fringe Festival each fall, the organization transforms downtown Scranton into a stage for dozens of performances across multiple venues. From experimental theater and solo acts to comedy, dance, and multimedia works, the festival invites artists and audiences to engage in bold conversations and fresh perspectives.
