The Susquehanna County Historical Society & Free Library Association work together to support and preserve the preservation of local history and nourish the joy of reading. The Susquehanna County Historical Society has a museum and genealogy research department in Montrose. The museum is free to the public while the Genealogy Research Department is free for members. Non-members pay a small fee.
