The Luzerne Foundation is “Here for Good.” As a philanthropic leader, community resource and financial steward for Luzerne County, they support donors with charitable giving and help them invest strategically in the causes that they care about.

Since they were established in 1994, The Luzerne Foundation has awarded over $160 million in grants from more than 360 funds. They address seven different fields of interest, which include social services, education and scholarships, arts and culture, health and wellness, youth issues, historic preservation and the environment and neighborhood/community development. Each of these areas are crucial to creating a strong and vibrant community.
