Mission Statement

The Pale Moon Players believe that providing a creative outlet for both youth and adults is an essential element of any thriving community. Their goal is to enrich the community through the art of theater.

The Pale Moon Players | Inspiring Community Through Theater in Lehighton

Based in Lehighton, The Pale Moon Players is a dedicated community theatre group enriching Carbon County through the performing arts. Founded in 2011 by Dave and Laurel Zimmerman, along with Bob Fatzinger, this nonprofit organization produces four shows each year. Each performance brings people together to celebrate creativity, collaboration, and the shared experience of live theater.

Bringing Stories to Life

From comedies like The Fox on the Fairway and Boeing, Boeing to timeless classics such as Arsenic and Old Lace, the group showcases a wide range of productions. Their original Christmas show, Remembering Christmas Past, and the musical Plain & Fancy—produced with the Lehighton 150 Sesquicentennial Committee—highlight their commitment to community storytelling and local heritage.

They proudly feature youth-focused performances, including Golly Gee Whiz and Let Your Hair Down, Rapunzel. Each summer, the group’s children’s musical provides young actors with a chance to grow their confidence, creativity, and appreciation for the arts.

The Pale Moon Players continue to inspire, entertain, and strengthen Lehighton’s artistic community through their passion for live performance.
