Valley in Motion (VIM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that encourages health, connection and community pride throughout the Lackawanna Valley. Based in Mayfield, this organization recognizes that improving the local quality of life will boost the region’s social and economic vitality.

VIM and their partners focus on Valley-wide initiatives that add vibrance in NEPA and promote overall wellbeing. They are committed to creating local Blue Zones, places where people live exceptionally long, healthy lives because of their lifestyle habits. They also work to improve access to the Scranton Iron Furnaces and create murals throughout the Valley.
