Upcoming Council Event Spotlight – 2023 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Forum
Save the date for our 4th Annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Forum, happening on April 20th, 2023, hosted in partnership with our regional chambers, and presented by PNC. This day-long conference is aimed at increasing awareness of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Wyoming Valley. Join us in the THINK Center in Downtown Wilkes-Barre. This year’s conference will feature two tracks of breakout sessions, with one track showcasing diverse-owned businesses and diverse entrepreneurs and the other track showcasing DEI workplace practices! Community Opportunities – Celebrate Women’s History Month!
Throughout the month of March, our Chamber’s Women’s Council has partnered with Dress For Success Luzerne County to highlight amazing women in our community through the Women In Power Campaign, in honor of both International Women’s Day & Women’s History Month. All of the dollars raised will go to Dress For Success Luzerne County to directly impact the lives of women who need our support most.

Get Involved in Community Initiatives – Nominate Someone to be Featured in April as a Diversity Month Highlight!
For Diversity month in April, the DEI Council is highlighting leaders locally who are involved in diversity, equity, and inclusion causes and initiatives in our community.
We are currently accepting nominations for individuals to be a part of this campaign, which will include a post highlighting the individual, as well as a graphic piece of the individual to be shared across our social media platforms. Nominations will be open until April 2nd and are available HERE!
