The PA CareerLink® at Luzerne and Schuylkill Counties supports employers looking to meet their hiring needs and connect job seekers with resources they need to secure long-term employment. PA CareerLink Assists Youth and Young Adults (Aged 16-24) with Education and Employment Opportunities

Are you a high school graduate who hasn’t yet found your career path? Do you need to obtain your high school equivalency diploma (GED) to further your career? Do you want to upgrade your skills? Are you interested in going to school? The PA CareerLink® has programs and services designed to assist you along your career pathway.

PA CareerLink® staff can assist you in your quest to obtain your high school equivalency diploma (GED), a good job, and/or post-education opportunities. Students in our GED class work with our staff to get prepared for the workforce, college or other advanced training, or to enter the armed forces.

The PA CareerLink® can assist you with reaching your goals:

Improve academic scores and obtain your GED
Learn occupational skills
Find a job and work towards possible advancement
Enroll in college, a training school, the armed forces, or Job Corps

Other Services include:

Career assessments
Cost coverage for GED subject tests
Employability skills YES workshops
Incentives
Occupational skills credentials
Paid work experience opportunities
Supportive services, i.e., transportation
