1800’s Candle Making arrives at Salt Springs Park in Montrose on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Led by candle maker Molly Farray, this hands-on workshop introduces the historic dip method used in the 1800s.
Participants will begin with a brief look at the history of candle making and the types of waxes traditionally used. Then, everyone will make their own candles and leave with two unscented pillar candles.
Admission is $10 for non-members and $5 for members. To reserve a spot, RSVP to eec@saltspringspark.org.
