Join Kettle Creek Pottery in the beautiful mountains of the Poconos for a rare and inspiring three-day demonstration workshop with internationally recognized potter, Bill van Gilder. One of only two East Coast workshops Bill will present in 2025, this event is a unique opportunity to learn about “The Functional Pot” and explore Bill’s journey, craft, and contributions to the pottery community.
The workshop will take place at Kettle Creek Pottery, nestled in the historic Village of Snydersville, PA. Set amid a charming spring garden, their large enclosed tent offers a comfortable setting with plenty of seating. From a raised stage, Bill will share his expertise through lectures and demonstrations, giving attendees a chance to learn directly from one of the best in the field.
Located on a property built in 1783, Kettle Creek Pottery includes a brick chapel studio, a historic one-room schoolhouse gallery. Throughout the weekend, you’ll have the chance to shop Bill’s collection of pottery and specialized tools in the schoolhouse gallery as well as enjoy the entire property.
