A Doll’s House, Part 2 | Studio Theater, McDade Center for Literary & Performing Arts, Scranton
Wednesday–Saturday, November 5–8, 2025 | 8:00 PM
Sunday, November 9, 2025 | 2:00 PM
The University of Scranton’s Studio Theater presents A Doll’s House, Part 2, the bold and witty continuation of Henrik Ibsen’s classic 1879 play. Set fifteen years after Nora Helmer’s shocking decision to leave her husband and children, the story picks up when she returns — but why she’s back and what she wants will challenge everything left behind.
This modern sequel explores themes of freedom, gender roles, and personal identity, balancing sharp humor with emotional depth as Nora confronts the consequences of her past choices.
Performances run November 5–9, 2025 in the McDade Center for Literary & Performing Arts. Tickets are $10 general admission, $7 for students, faculty, staff, and seniors, and free for first-year University of Scranton students. The Studio Theater seats only 99 guests, so reservations are strongly recommended. (Box Office accepts cash, check, or Royal Card only.)
