A German Requiem, Op. 45 by Johannes Brahms will be performed at St. Patrick’s Church in Pottsville on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM. The concert is presented through a collaboration between the Schuylkill Chorale Society and the Anthracite Philharmonic.
This program brings together chorus and orchestra for one of Brahms’ most powerful and moving works, offering a rich afternoon of choral and instrumental music in a landmark church setting.
The Schuylkill Chorale Society is a nonprofit, volunteer community organization dedicated to learning, rehearsing, promoting, and performing choral music while providing affordable, accessible entertainment that enhances cultural life and deepens appreciation for vocal and instrumental performance. The organization is supported by the Schuylkill Area Community Foundation, Berks Arts, and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.
