A New Path to the Waterfall | Everhart Museum, Scranton

Wednesdays–Sundays Through June 29 | Museum Hours Vary

The Everhart Museum in Scranton presents A New Path to the Waterfall, an evocative joint exhibition by Northeastern Pennsylvania artists Samuelle Green and John Bromberg. On view Wednesdays through Sundays until June 29, this thought-provoking showcase explores the evolving relationship between the natural world and modern technology.

Green, known globally for her large-scale paper installations, transforms gallery spaces with sculptural forms that mirror nature’s quiet reclamation—evoking wasp nests, fungi, and decay as they engulf walls and ceilings. Bromberg contributes a powerful counterbalance with his final major work, Bridge to Nowhere, a striking metal structure that echoes strength yet reminds viewers of nature’s supremacy over man-made forms.

Together, these immersive works blur boundaries between growth and decay, art and environment. As Bromberg concludes his decades-long career, this exhibition offers a unique and poetic reflection on time, transformation and the enduring power of nature.
