Adapting to Change will take place at the Van Scott Nature Reserve in Beach Lake on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM. Presented by the Delaware Highlands Conservancy, this interactive program helps children and families explore how human choices shape the natural world.
Through a series of hands-on activities and guided scenarios, participants will simulate environmental changes and examine how these decisions impact the wildlife and ecosystems around us. The program encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deeper awareness of how even small changes can ripple through the natural environment.
Designed especially for elementary and middle school students, this engaging program also welcomes families interested in learning more about conservation and the balance between people and nature.
