Try your hand at one of today’s fastest-growing sports during Archery for Beginners at Salt Springs State Park in Montrose, PA, on Saturday, July 12, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
This introductory program is based on the National Archery in Schools Program (NASP) and is designed to make archery accessible to beginners of all ages. Diane Hawley-Wurth, a NASP-certified instructor, will guide participants through safe, simple techniques to build confidence and skill—whether you’re brand new or returning to improve.
All equipment is provided; just bring your focus and a friend for some fun, low-key competition. This family-friendly activity is a great way to try something new together.
The class will take place beside the Dairy Barn, located just beyond the park’s main parking lot. A $5 fee per person applies.
