Art in Context Screening: Making NEPA Home takes place at Sordoni Art Gallery in Wilkes-Barre on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 5:15 PM. This special screening features Making NEPA Home, a new original documentary from WVIA, presented as part of the gallery’s Art in Context series.

Produced, directed, and edited by WVIA filmmaker Kara Washington, with cinematography by WVIA producer/director Alexander Monelli, the documentary is part of WVIA’s We Stand Against Hate initiative. The film highlights stories of resilience, unity, and cultural diversity, offering a thoughtful look at the people and experiences that shape Northeastern Pennsylvania.
