Hosted by the Friends group for the Back Mountain Memorial Library, this annual luncheon invites guests to enjoy an afternoon of conversation and insight into the paranormal. Author Maxim Furek will speak about his book The Smurl Haunting: When Ed and Lorraine Came to Town, centered on the Smurl case in Pennsylvania’s Coal Region and its connection to the Conjuring universe.
Seating is arranged with eight guests per table, and attendees are encouraged to bring friends for a shared experience. When purchasing tickets, guests can request to sit next to another attendee; groups are encouraged to coordinate ticket purchases to help with seating preferences.
Tickets are $30 per adult and include a full dinner buffet, dessert, soda, coffee, and tea. A cash bar will be available, and guests will have opportunities to participate in cash raffles throughout the evening.
