Bare Tree ID takes place at Forest Echo Bird Sanctuary in Dallas on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 10:00 AM. This guided winter hike helps participants learn how to identify local trees by observing bark, branching patterns, and other features visible when leaves are absent.
Attendees will receive a Common Tree ID book to use during the walk while comparing and identifying different tree species along the trail. After the hike, participants are encouraged to visit Jane’s Sugar Magnolia, where attendees can enjoy a 10% discount to warm up and continue the conversation.
