Covenant Presbyterian Church, Scranton will host a special event via a virtual meeting with author Glenna Lang who will discuss her recent book, Jane Jacobs’s First City, Learning from Scranton Pennsylvania. Participants will have the opportunity to be enlightened and ask questions via Zoom about Ms. Lang’s book Jane Jacobs’ First City Learning from Scranton Pennsylvania. This book offers an engaging history of Lackawanna County as seen through the eyes of Jane Jacobs, an American-Canadian journalist, author, theorist, and activist who grew up in Dunmore, PA.

The book is available online to purchase or to borrow from your local library. They encourage participants to do their best in completely reading the book by the February 26th event. Lunch will also be provided after the presentation. A donation of $10 at the door is suggested. Reservations are required and may be made by calling Covenant Presbyterian Church office at 570-346-6400.
