The Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic presents (Candle)LIT Mozart Requiem, an intimate, immersive performance of Mozart’s final and most transcendent work, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Scranton on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 7:00 PM.
This stunning candlelit concert surrounds the audience with light and sound, offering a moving 360° experience of Mozart’s masterpiece. The program also features the touching Chorale for Strings by the late Ukrainian composer Hanna Havrylets, a work that captures both grief and grace.
The performance is dedicated to the memory of John F. Magagna, a longtime supporter and friend of the Philharmonic. Featured performers include organist Mark Laubach, the Marywood University Concert Choir under choral director Rick Hoffenberg, and distinguished vocalists Jessica Leigh, Inayah Raheem, Dylon Crain, and Metropolitan Opera Lindemann Artist Sunghoon Han.
