The Exchange presents the twelfth edition of its popular year-end art sale, Cash & Carry XII, with a reception on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Exchange Gallery, 24 East Main Street, Bloomsburg.
For this unique exhibition, artists were given 551 MDF panels in various shapes and sizes—including 217 eight-inch squares, 186 rectangles, 118 triangles, and 30 assorted pieces—to transform into original works of art. Participants used painting, drawing, photography, fiber arts, and more, making each piece a one-of-a-kind creation. The panels themselves serve as the show’s theme, tying all the work together.
The show will be on display beginning Monday, November 24, through Friday, December 5, with the festive Cash & Carry sale beginning during the reception. Guests are assigned numbers randomly, and beginning at 6:00 PM, each number holder may select one piece of art. After the initial round, attendees may return to purchase additional works until the collection is gone.
Most pieces are priced at $30, with artists receiving $24 from each sale. Some works will also be available at $10, $15, $20, or $50. Purchases can be made by check or card, and guests may take their art home the same evening—the true “carry” in Cash & Carry.
This long-running community favorite makes art accessible, affordable, and fun, while also supporting local creators and The Exchange.
