The historic Shawnee Playhouse will present this beloved Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, directed by a member of the original Broadway cast. First performed in 1982, “Cats” became one of the longest-running shows in Broadway history, winning the Tony Award for Best Musical in 1983.

The production, based on T.S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, features elaborate costumes, powerful choreography, and unforgettable songs—including the iconic ballad “Memory.”
