Celebrity Baristas | Bailey’s Downtown, Scranton

From saving lives to serving lattes, local heroes are brewing up something special at Bailey’s Downtown in Scranton during Celebrity Baristas Week, taking place Monday, November 3 through Friday, November 7, 2025, from 7:30 to 10:30 AM each day. The event brings together Scranton’s first responders — firefighters, police officers, and paramedics — for a fun and flavorful fundraiser benefiting the United Way of Lackawanna, Wayne & Pike Counties.
Each day, a different team of first responders will take over the espresso machine to serve coffee and smiles to the community:
- Scranton Fire Department – Monday, November 3 | 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM
- Pennsylvania Ambulance – Wednesday, November 5 | 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM
- Scranton Police Department – Friday, November 7 | 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM
During each shift, all drink proceeds and barista tips will be donated directly to the United Way, supporting local programs that strengthen the community. To make things even more exciting, the first responder team that raises the most money will receive $500 toward a nonprofit of their choice, courtesy of Bailey’s ownership and the campaign’s generous chair.
