The Everhart Museum welcomes nature enthusiasts throughout NEPA for a free information session and workshop on the City Nature Challenge (CNC) on April 21 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.! Conducted by local naturalist and regional coordinator Matt Schultz, this event delves into the CNC, a four day global event from April 26 to April 29 in which citizen scientists document the biodiversity of their communities.

Participants will learn how to use the iNaturalist platform to make nature observations. iNaturalist is a free smartphone app/website that is the premier way to document and share nature observations. During the workshop, Schultz will guide participants through Nay Aug Park to make observations using their smartphones or digital cameras and assist them in using the app.

The iNaturalist training session and CNC is free, but participants should RSVP.
