Clean Food Dirty Hands Kids Class: Preserve | Pocono Organics, Long Pond, PA

Saturday, October 18, 2025 | 10:00 AM

The Clean Food Dirty Hands (CFDH) Kids Program returns to Pocono Organics on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM with a hands-on class focused on preserving garden harvests. This fall series teaches children how to plan and preserve produce while engaging with the farm’s expansive greenhouses.

In this session, participants will harvest basil, prepare a farm-fresh pesto dip, design their own pesto label, and take home a jar of their creation. The class also includes interactive activities such as stories, songs, tastings, and garden design.

The program is open to children ages 3 and up. Cost is $15 per child. A special offer is available—buy two tickets and get a third ticket for free, valid when all three are for the same class.

Advance registration is encouraged as space is limited.
