Debussy & Frenemies | Luzerne County Courthouse, Wilkes-Barre

Thursday, March 26, 2026 | 7:00 PM

The Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic presents Debussy & Frenemies at the Luzerne County Courthouse in Wilkes-Barre on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 7:00 PM.

The second married duo featured this season, Duo Zuber—comprised of NEPA Philharmonic flutist Pat Zuber and Metropolitan Opera Principal Percussionist Greg Zuber—delivers an imaginative program exploring the quirky friendships and rivalries among French composers.

This colorful and inventive concert highlights works that span humor, harmony, and a hint of mischief, including Debussy’s whimsical Children’s Corner, Messiaen’s vibrant Le Merle Noir, and Satie’s haunting Gnossiennes. Set beneath the Courthouse’s historic rotunda, this intimate performance promises a night of musical wit and charm.
