The EcoZone Discovery Room at the Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) in Dingmans Ferry offers a hands-on indoor learning experience perfect for curious minds of all ages. This interactive exhibit space invites guests to climb into a life-size bald eagle’s nest, crawl through a recreated bat cave, explore the interior of a beaver lodge, and dig into a realistic fossil pit. Designed to educate and inspire, the EcoZone connects visitors to the region’s natural history, local ecosystems, and the principles of sustainability.
Exhibits are immersive and family-friendly, making the space an ideal stop for families, school groups, and anyone interested in learning more about the natural world of the Poconos. From native wildlife habitats to environmental challenges, each exhibit encourages curiosity and hands-on exploration. No registration is required, and admission is free.
