Eckley Miners’ Village will offer programs featuring leading writers and researchers of the anthracite region during Energize Eckley, a speaker series running on most Saturdays from late June through August 2024.

Curated walking tours, field tests, demonstrations, lectures, cultural performances, and a new virtual-reality experience will invite learners of all ages to reconsider the anthracite region’s rich heritage from unfamiliar perspectives. Energize Eckley is designed to make emerging research about the anthracite region accessible to the public and to foster dialogue between the museum’s visitors and its university partners.

Proceeds from Energize Eckley will help match a National Endowment for the Humanities grant for Eckley to rehabilitate two of its buildings as overnight lodging and educational facilities.

Space is limited, so reserve your tickets today!
