The Evening Presentation on the Pennsylvania Reserves will be held Monday, October 13, 2025, from 6:00–8:00 PM at the GAR Museum on the second floor of The Marketplace at Steamtown in Scranton, PA. Presented by the GAR Memorial Association of Scranton and Lt. Ezra S. Griffin Camp 8, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, this program welcomes Gettysburg Licensed Battlefield Guide Tim Pierce for an in-depth exploration of the Reserves—from their formation and training to their pivotal role at Gettysburg and continued service afterward.
Ideal for history enthusiasts and lifelong learners, the presentation offers a vivid look at a cornerstone of Pennsylvania’s Civil War story and the soldiers who helped preserve the Union.
