Family Cookbook Club at the Valley Community Library is a new program that helps kids learn the life skill of preparing their own healthy food. Each family will work together to cook one recipe from the Family Cookbook of the month to bring to the library to share with others. Kids will practice public speaking skills at the event by sharing what they made and how they helped prepare the dish. This program is geared towards families of kids ages 5-13. Please register in person at the front desk of the Valley Community Library. February’s Family Cookbook is Make Ahead Bread. Registration is required and limited.
