A series of 4 workshops (1/25, 2/22, 3/22, 4/26) focusing on tapping into the art of creating patterns and design utilizing traditional techniques with a spin. Sponsored by Designed 2 Inspire. Facilitator Gwen Harleman.

Each class will begin with a group meditation, incorporating a Tibetan free-standing tuning bowl and essential oils to set the tone for exploring and assisting in the creative process. Light fare after each experience.

All supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring along items or previous work to incorporate into your piece.

The first class (1/25) will be creating your 2025 vision board Utilizing collage style and technique of design and pattern. Your vision board is your road map of hopes, dreams and direction!

The second class (2/22) will be exploring the technique of surface design utilizing everyday objects transferring images onto fabric and paper.

The third class (3/22) will be block printing your zodiac sign and learning more about the characteristics that make you unique.

The fourth session (4/26) will be embossing with paper clay utilizing pattern and design to create pieces of work which can be embellishment for assemblage artwork.
