First Day Hike #2 takes place at Promised Land State Park in Greentown on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at 10:30 AM. This guided New Year’s hike offers an easy, approximately 1-mile loop at Conservation Island, providing a relaxed way to begin 2026 on the trail.

Hikers will meet at the Conservation Island parking lot. The route is relatively flat, but snow and ice are possible, so participants should wear sturdy footwear, dress for winter conditions, and bring water.

Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash. Due to expected snowy terrain, strollers are not recommended. Registration is required.
