First Day Hike | Beltzville State Park, Lehighton

Start the new year outdoors with Session #1 of the First Day Hike at Beltzville State Park in Lehighton on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at 8:00 AM. Join Park Manager Cody Miller for a refreshing 3-mile moderately easy hike along the scenic Christman Trail.

This special morning hike is limited to 25 participants, and registration is required. Hikers should wear sturdy walking or hiking shoes and dress comfortably for winter conditions.

Participants will meet at the Wildcreek Trailhead, located approximately 3.8 miles east of the park office on Pohopoco Drive. For detailed directions or additional information, contact the park office Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at 610-377-0045.
