The Free Christmas Open House & Tour of The Metcalf Mansion in Tunkhannock takes place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Guests are invited to explore the historic home during a full day of holiday cheer, complete with seasonal décor, warm drinks, and sweet treats.
This self-guided experience allows visitors to see the ongoing restoration of the mansion up close. Friends, families, and neighbors can gather to make new memories while connecting with both community and local history.
Attendees should note that the mansion remains under restoration and that stairs are required for entry and touring. Parking is available at the TASD Administration building and other public lots in town. While admission is free, donations to support the ongoing restoration are welcome and appreciated. Please also keep in mind that no public restrooms are available.
