From Darkness to Light will be held at the Jewish Discovery Center in Clarks Summit on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. This powerful program invites attendees to hear firsthand from Judith Raanan, who—along with her daughter, Natalie—was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023. After two harrowing weeks in Gaza, they became the first of the approximately 240 hostages to be released.
During this moving event, Judith will share her story of hope, faith, and survival. Her account offers a rare personal perspective on resilience in the face of trauma and the strength required to endure unthinkable circumstances.
Guests will also enjoy hors d’oeuvres, a wine bar, and appetizer stations throughout the evening. A menorah-lighting will be part of the program, adding a meaningful communal moment to the gathering.
