Climb aboard for a one-of-a-kind autumn adventure with the Halloween and Fall Foliage Train Rides in downtown Bloomsburg on Saturday, October 18, 2025, with departures at 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 2:00 PM.
Presented by Downtown Bloomsburg, Inc. and the Bloomsburg Public Library, in partnership with the North Shore Railroad Company & Affiliates and the SEDA-COG Joint Rail Authority, these nostalgic rides offer something special for all ages.
The 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM rides last just over an hour and feature child-centered Halloween fun, including a costume contest, music, and costumed characters. The 2:00 PM ride is a longer fall foliage excursion, lasting just over two hours, showcasing Pennsylvania’s stunning autumn scenery.
Each ride features an open-sided train car that seats 40 passengers on a central bench facing outward, offering an authentic and refreshing old-fashioned train experience.
Tickets:
- 10 AM & 12 PM rides: $15 adults / $10 children (12 & under)
- 2 PM ride: $25 per person
