Step into the shadows at the Haunted Library at the Bloomsburg Public Library, running October 24–26, 2025, with tours beginning at 7 PM. This thrilling fundraiser transforms the library’s historic three-story building into a spine-tingling maze where the line between fiction and reality blurs.
Guided by the mysterious Night Librarians, guests will journey through dimly lit stacks and corridors as beloved—and haunting—book characters leap from the pages to life. Expect surprises around every corner as you make your way toward the “final chapter.”
For a lighter scare, tours between 7 and 8 PM are recommended for ages 10 and up. After 8 PM, the frights intensify for those daring enough to face the darker side of the story. Each tour lasts about twenty minutes and involves stairs, but accommodations are available for wheelchair users and guests needing mobility assistance.
Tickets are $10, and proceeds support the Bloomsburg Public Library’s community programs and events.
