Can you say you’ve hiked all the trails at a state park? Can you say you did it all in one day? Vosburg Neck State Park has 7 miles of trails, but this will be a 9-mile journey as you will have to overlap a few trails to ensure you cover everything. Join the park educator to cover about 4 miles in the morning with a warmup on the flatter riparian river section before stopping for lunch and a restroom break. In the afternoon, finish the last 5 miles on the mountainous trails section with a couple rounds of moderate uphill and downhill hiking. Registered participants who complete the entire hike will also receive a commemorative sticker.
This event is not a race to see who can finish fastest. You will be hiking as a group the whole time. Participants should dress in sturdy shoes and pack a bagged lunch along with enough water and snacks to be outside all day. The end time will change depending on the pace of the group and the length of breaks.
