Hometown Holidays Festival | Downtown White Haven

Saturday, November 29, 2025 | Events Throughout the Day

The Hometown Holidays Festival in Downtown White Haven takes place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, with family-friendly activities scheduled from late morning through early evening. The festival features live entertainment, seasonal treats, children’s activities, and multiple tree lighting events spread across town.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., visitors can stop by the borough parking lot on Main Street for an educational live reindeer display and photo opportunities. At the same time, several locations throughout Main Street offer ingredients for a build-your-own s’mores experience, and guests can warm up by the fire pits at the corner of Northumberland and Main from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with hot cocoa, cider, s’mores, and hot dogs.

The Community Paint Project Reveal begins at 12:15 p.m. inside the borough building on Main Street, where attendees can learn about the project’s inspiration before the official reveal at 12:30 p.m. Children’s activities at the White Haven Library take place from 1 to 3 p.m., including cookie decorating and crafts with no registration required.

Vendors and a letter-writing station for Santa will be available from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. inside the borough building. Throughout the day, families can enjoy photo ops at seven themed spots around town and keep an eye out for appearances by Santa and the Grinch.

Community tree lightings begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Fire House, followed by a Santa parade to the Caboose and a second lighting ceremony at 6 p.m., complete with hot cocoa and ice cream sandwiches from Woods Ice Cream.
