Hooch Wagon Brew Fest – Eckley Miners’ Village, Weatherly

Experience Pennsylvania’s rich brewing heritage at the first-ever Hooch Wagon Brew Fest on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Eckley Miners’ Village in Weatherly, PA. Set within the striking 19th-century coal town, this unique event celebrates the beer, wine, and cider-making traditions of the Pennsylvania Coal Region.

Inspired by the traveling “hooch wagons” that once served mining communities, the festival invites attendees aged 21 and over to sample unlimited pours from over a dozen local brewers. Each ticket includes a souvenir tasting glass, access to live music, and immersive living history demonstrations that bring the spirit of the era to life.

Visitors can also enjoy food from regional food trucks while exploring one of the area’s most authentic historical settings. All proceeds directly support the preservation efforts of Eckley Miners’ Village and help share the stories of the people who powered America’s industrial age.
