The Intermediate Wheel Throwing Class for Adults at Peaceful Potter in Wilkes-Barre meets on Tuesdays, January 6, 13, 20 and 27, 2025, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. This four-week series is designed for students who have completed Intro to Pottery or possess equivalent experience and are ready to build confidence and precision on the wheel.
Participants will refine their wheel-throwing techniques and begin working on more advanced forms, improving consistency, structure, and finishing skills. Each class provides guided instruction along with independent practice time, allowing students to progress at their own pace while receiving personalized feedback.
After the four throwing sessions, students will return during the second weekend of the following month to glaze their pieces at their convenience. This additional glazing visit offers time to add color, texture, and surface design before the final firing.
