No experience required! In this class you explore the basics of hand-building, wheel throwing, and glazing technique. You will make several items both on and off the pottery wheel with stoneware clay that you can use for years to come. This class makes for a great refresher if you have been away from clay for a while. Price includes all clay, glazes, and firing of up to 10 pieces. Students attend once a week for 6 weeks. Classes are 2 hours long. All students also receive 6 hours of studio time to work independently. Students are required to have their own basic pottery tool kit which can be purchased online or from the studio. This includes an 8 piece basic pottery tool kit, bucket, large cleaning sponge, and a small towel. This class is for adults and Teens (13+).
