Join Pocono Heritage Land Trust for this guided walk with Cas Schoeller to support well-being! The forest is a naturally healing environment. We gain these healing benefits through what is called “Forest Bathing”. This practice originated in Japan & translates to “Shinrin-Yoku”. It began as a way to connect humans to natural health benefits through sensory immersion in the forest, along with gentle walks.
Studies have shown that in doing so, it can reduce stress hormone production, boost immunity, & increase feelings of physical & mental well-being.
You will also enjoy a short introduction to QiGong (often referred to as “moving meditation”) while being surrounded by the healing sights & sounds of nature.
