Intro to the Potter’s Wheel | Peaceful Potter Studio, Wilkes-Barre

Intro to the Potter’s Wheel begins at Peaceful Potter Studio in Wilkes-Barre on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, and continues weekly through October 8. This six-week course is held every Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, offering students a hands-on introduction to pottery.
Designed for adults and mature teens ages 13 and older, the program provides instruction in a variety of essential pottery techniques, including hand building, wheel throwing, and glazing. By the end of the course, students will have created and finished up to 10 pieces of their own work.
The course fee includes all clay, glazes, and firing of up to 10 pieces. In addition, students receive complimentary studio time during the first four weeks of class, allowing for extra practice and creativity outside of scheduled instruction.
This welcoming and beginner-friendly class is perfect for those looking to try their hand at pottery while learning in a supportive studio environment.
