John Proctor is the Villain takes a closer, unique and more discerning look at a classic play taught in high-schools all over the country: Arthur Miller’s The Crucible. It’s 2018, and we find a group of precocious girls blazing a path forward in a sleepy Appalachian town. They struggle to make their way through junior year when the differences between right and wrong and true and false start to feel muddy.
