NEPA Run the River 2025 | Kirby Park, Wilkes-Barre, PA

Saturday, August 2, 2025 | 10:00 AM Start (Registration at 8:30 AM)

Start your festival day with the 2nd Annual NEPA Run the River, a fun, water-themed 5K and 1-Mile Walk at Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre. Runners can choose a blue shirt (get splashed) or white shirt (stay dry).

Awards will be given to top overall finishers and age group winners. New this year is a team challenge—fastest team wins a trophy and bragging rights.

Schedule:

• 8:30 AM – Registration
• 10:00 AM – 5K Start
• 10:05 AM – Walk Start
• 11:00 AM – Awards at Day Downtown Festival
