NEPA Scene Open Mic | The V-Spot Bar, Scranton

Every Tuesday | Sign-ups 6:30–8:30 p.m. | Show starts at 8 p.m.

The NEPA Scene Open Mic keeps the creative energy flowing every Tuesday night at The V Spot Bar in Scranton. This free weekly event continues to draw a dynamic crowd and an ever-evolving lineup of talent. Local musicians, comedians, poets, magicians, dancers, and performers of all types are invited to share their work in a welcoming environment that celebrates creativity and collaboration.

Sign-ups run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with limited space available after that, so early arrival is recommended. Each act gets roughly 10–12 minutes of stage time, with flexibility depending on the night’s flow. Original work is encouraged, and every performer is featured in a live stream across NEPA Scene’s social media platforms. Professional photos are also shared in the NEPA Scene Open Mic Facebook group, providing a valuable promotional tool for artists.

Beyond stage time, this open mic offers the chance to connect with other creatives in Scranton’s thriving arts community. Many past participants have booked gigs and built lasting professional relationships through this weekly gathering. The event is open to those 18 and older, with additional requirements for attendees under 21. The NEPA Scene Open Mic at The V-Spot is a cornerstone of local culture and a consistent source of inspiration for performers and audiences alike.
